France, our closest overseas holiday villa destination, is still very popular because of the ease with which you can travel there. Plus the convenience of taking your own car and bringing loads of cheap booze back! Booking  a place on the Ferry or Channel tunnel is so much easier and less stressful than flying that the attraction is obvious.

France does not lay claim to having extremely hot weather in the Summer, in fact you will need to travel right down to the French Riviera if you want to be sure of warmer weather. However many of us go for the change of scenery, camping, wine or cutural experience. Whilst many people have bought cheap holiday villas in France, most are inland. Unfortunately as the French Riviera is expensive, it is not common to find holiday villas with sea views to rent, hence our very short listing.
